We deliberately set fire to this house!

During the process, and under supervision, an observer went into the building and touched the outside of a fire-protected door. She was pleasantly surprised to find that the surface was relatively cool to the touch, indicating that the protective coatings on the fire side were doing their job efficiently.

After the fires were extinguished, a team went into the building, cleared away the debris, and set about refurbishing the rooms.
